“I am a cheerleader for people, brands, charities, and a self-proclaimed do-gooder. My motto is simple, ‘Help others celebrate the essence of their lives.’ I promote positive stories over the airwaves with my show, online at liveitup.tv, and through events and appearances.”
The background story: As a child I was aware that I didn’t have the same monetary comforts as other children, but I did have a very cool mom, some creative talents in singing and art, and the ability to generate something out of almost nothing. I was blessed to have the mom that everyone wanted – kind, cheerful and fun! Between my mother’s love and my joining a patriotic singing group, being a do-gooder became my pattern for success. During challenging times in my life -- my mom dying of breast cancer at 45 while I was pregnant with my first son, my spouse dying of colon cancer, two divorces, financial struggles -- I simply made a conscious decision to have purpose, vision and joy.
